Community Guidelines

Fluency is for learning languages together. These rules keep it friendly and safe. Breaking them can lead to a warning, a 7-day suspension or a permanent ban.
Learning only
- No dating, flirting or romantic messages, and don't ask for photos of people.
- Start conversations with a real introduction about what you'd like to practise.
- Try to keep exchanges balanced: help your partner as much as they help you.
Be kind and respectful
- No harassment, bullying, threats or hate speech, including about someone's accent, nationality, religion, gender or sexuality.
- Correct mistakes gently. Everyone is here to learn.
- Respect people who don't reply or who end a conversation.
No scams or pressure
- Never ask for money, gift cards, crypto or bank details, and never offer investments.
- Don't push people to move to other apps or share contact details.
- No spam, advertising or fake profiles.
No sexual or harmful content
No sexual content, nudity or violent material. Anything involving the sexual exploitation of children is reported to the authorities.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use Fluency.
Reporting, blocking and appeals
Use Report or Block on any profile or message; the person isn't told who reported them. Every decision about your account, with its reason, is shown under Profile → Account status, where you can appeal. We never ban someone just because they received many reports: people review the evidence. Contact: usamahaneef580@gmail.com.
